Directions from London

From London (if you use public transport, avoid traveling on weekends, especially Sundays!)

> Flight to Gothenburg. Ryanair flies to Gothenburg City Airport; BA flies to Gothenburg Landvetter; from both airports bus connections to GBG central station

> Train from Gothenburg to Skövde. All trains to Stockholm stop in Skövde, X2000 is the fastest connection. Advanced booking (SJ) recommended as you need to make a seat reservation and it is the cheapest option (check JUST NU 2nd-class tickets for the cheapest tickets, 1 week advance booking necessary); tickets ordered online can be collected in machines at the station until the train’s departure.

> From the central Bus terminal in Skövde (next to the station), take Bus 505 towards Töreboda. You can find a timetable available from the bus operator Västtrafik (http://www.vasttrafik.se). Get off the bus in ‘Götlunda’, approx. 40 minutes from Skövde. Ask the driver to drop you there.

> Now it is a 1.5 km walk to the house (approx 25 minutes). Walk a few meters back on the mainroad and turn right towards the railway bridge, cross the bridge and walk to a T-junction. Turn left and walk approximately 300 meters. On the right hand side, you will pass a white wooden house, which is where my neighbors Ronny and Birgitta live. A few meter further down the road, at the sign MELLANGÅRDEN, turn half right to Marieberg: V Ä L K O M N A !
